LAUNCH - APPLIED SOCIAL WORK SERIES: ASA 2013
West University of Timişoara, Romania, through the Department of Social Work of the Faculty of Sociology and Psychology, in partnership with WorldTeach Association, starts the ASA Series: Applied Social Work coordinated by Dr. Patricia-Luciana RUNCAN.
The ASA Series has a multidisciplinary character: it aims at gathering professionals, theorists and practitioners from the field of social sciences, related to social work and applicable in the social and economic practice. The goal is to convey both theoretical models and good practices in the field of Applied Social Work. The ASA Series 2013 will publish papers from the following 12 DOMAINS:
- CHILD AND FAMILY WELFARE
- SOCIAL ECONOMICS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP
- SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY
- SOCIAL THEOLOGY
- LIFELONG EDUCATION
- SOCIAL MEDICINE
- PEOPLE TRAFFICKING
- MIGRATION, EMIGRATION AND IMMIGRATION
- VIRTUAL IDENTITY AND SOCIAL RELATIONSHIPS
- SERVICE AND HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
- MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE
- INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION
All the papers will be assessed and selected by the Advisory Board of the ASA Series, prior to publication by Cambridge Scholars Publishing, UK or by another foreign publishing house, provided the papers meet the required quality standards. After publication, all the volumes of the ASA Series will be available in at least 12 libraries of higher education institutions from Member States of the European Union or Member States of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development indexed in the world catalogue Karlsruher Virtueller Katalog (KVK).
ASA-2013 FEE
The ASA-2013 fee shall be paid per article and not per author/co-author: it is 250 RON per paper for Romanian authors and 75 EURO or 100 US $ per paper for foreign authors if sent within the established interval (September 15 – October 1 2013). If not paid until this deadline, the article will not be published. The fee should be paid to WorldTeach Association, official partner of the ASA Series, with the mention: Paper ID received upon notification and DURNAME and Name of the first author of the paper.
The ASA-2013 fee includes:
- The publication of the selected paper in one of the volumes of the ASA Series by Cambridge Scholars Publishing, UK, or another foreign publishing house, in 2014;
- Professional proofreading.
The ASA-2013 fee does not include the printed volume of the ASA Series (authors will be able to purchase the printed book online, from the publishing house, guided by Dr. Georgeta Rață and/or Dr. Patricia-Luciana Runcan).

- FULL FORMAT PAPER + SHORT PROFESSIONAL BIO of the author: August 31, 2013
- NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF PAPER: September 15, 2013
- PAYMENT OF ASA 2013 FEE PER PAPER: September 15-October 1, 2013
- SCANNED PROOF OF FEE PAYMENT: October 1-5, 2013. In the title of the e-mail, please mention the ID of your paper (the ID will be sent to you with the notification of acceptance) when sending the scanned copy of the fee payment slip
- The authors might be contacted for CHANGES of or ADDITIONS to the full format paper if required by the Advisory Board of the ASA Series or the publishing company prior to the publication agreement
- PUBLICATION AGREEMENT of the author for the publishing house: 2014
